One Sky is a custom text based roleplay site, set in a world beyond our own. Technologically modern, though taking place in a more ancient to medieval setting - you join the world as a mortal. The site is player driven as well as plot driven, with the backstory being only a basis for your character to get involved in this new world, known as Aleha.

Starting Limits

Players who have just joined will be limited in the amount of Techniques and Weapons they have at the start. Each new Character will be allowed Seven Techniques when created. At the start, you are only permitted One Level Four Technique, and all other Techniques must be Level Three or below, absolutely no Level Five Techniques are allowed to be started with. Any Summons or Pets they may have are allowed to have Techniques of their own as well, but will be deducted from the amount of Techniques your character may have. These can be Magic, War, or Stealth related. As you go through the Role-Playing Game, you gain 'Player Points' from posting. So if you Role-Play more, you will have more Player Points. Note that posting in Social and Creation areas will not earn you Player Points. After collecting a sufficient amount of Player Points, you can use it later to purchase Packages for your character, allowing you to expand your Character's potential.

You will also be limited to a single 'Weapon'. This only applies to 'Special Weapons' with Unique Abilities, and if you do not have a Specialty relating to Weapons. When you first create your character, if you happen to have a Summon, it will take the place of your single 'Weapon'.

One 'Special Weapon', with abilities and such, will be allowed for those who have a Specialty pertaining to Weapons, while allowing minor Weapons that fall under their Specialty. And for those who do not have a Specialty pertaining to Weapons, are only allowed One Weapon in general. Same with Equipment, and Creatures. If you have a specialty in weapons you are allowed 1 specialty weapon or two standard weapons. In the case of Creatures, those who do not have the Title of Tamer, Summoner, or anything pertaining to Creatures, may have a Pet. If you notice, the Pet Template is more limited than the Summon Template, because Summons aren't supposed to be ordinary Creatures, while Pets are technically ordinary.

You are allowed to have 1 "Unordinary" piece of equipment at the start of your character. This would label anything that is not run of the mill and obtained through ordinary methods. Lockpicks would be unordinary as would tools for scaling walls. However something like rope would be considered Ordinary. There is not a limit on how many ordinary pieces of equipment you can carry but a moderator is allowed to change this if he or she feels you have too much.

Again, Summons are allowed to have Techniques, but when you first create your character, the amount of Techniques they have will be deducted from your Character's Seven. So make sure to even your amount of techniques out between Creature and Character.

To gain more Equipment, Creatures, or Techniques, you will need Player Points. Once again, you gain Player Points from Role-Playing, so the more you Role-Play, the more Player Points you get. You then use the Player Points you earned to purchase 'Packages'. When you do purchase a Package, depending on what you are purchasing will determine what form your Character received the Package In Character. If you purchased additional Techniques for either your Character, or your Summon, you could receive the Techniques in the form of a scroll, or a tutor to teach you said Techniques. Or if you insist on being independent, you can train the Techniques yourself in RP.

If you purchase an additional Summon altogether, including Techniques and such, depending on the Type of Contract you have made with it will determine the form in which you receive it In Character. For example, if your Contract is a Scoll Type, you will receive it in the form of a scroll. Another example being a Pact Type, you will receive it in the form of the pact item, which can be something as simple as an accessory, in which they will release their Summon. Blood Type contract is made with a tatoo, so your Character will receive a permanent tattoo, in which they will release their Summon. The Life Type Contract means the Summon is bound to you for life, and is sealed inside of you entirely and released by your will. However, in the situation of a Life Type Contract, if your Summon were to die, you will die as well, and vice versa.

Regardless, any additions to your Character after it has been Approved will have to be gained through RP. Therefore, you will require making a topic to RP how you received said additions.
